Galore Moving & Storage Paid to be robbed Van Nuys California
Joining the group... Galore picked up my belongings in Palm Springs on August 2. The check they collected that day cleared my bank in Ohio on August 6. I was told delivery would be 14-21 days away. I arrived in Ohio on Aug. 18. I was not in a hurry to receive my stuff but I was curious as to the status of the delivery. On Friday Aug. 20 I started the voice-mail run-a-round. As of Tuesday, Aug 24 I realized something was not right. I still had not spoken to a live person. The following day I started calling several times per day. I spent a couple hours today (Sept 3) on-line searching to find my next step. It was then that I re-checked the BBB site and NOW found numerous complaints. I realize I've been ripped-off.
I'm amazed at the replacement cost of 'stuff' is going to be now though, but of all the items that are missing / stolen there is nothing that I can't live without, at least for a while. I'm very thankful that I super-packed and Fedx-ed several boxes of my most prized and sentimental items!
I have NO intention of putting this matter aside. If I can be of help to others involved contact me somehow.
