Please get in touch with the Credit Bureaus (Equifax, Experian & TransUnion). They have fraud divisions that will handle this for you as long as you reported to the police. They all have Websites with the 800 #'s for fraud/identity theft. Also, if fraud is proven and you notified Gateway but paid anyway under threat to your credit report, they may be liable also. If you do nothing else, call your State Attorney Generals Office - Consumer Affairs Div and file a complaint.
