First and foremost calls are monitored and EVEN IF this person answered the way you claim she would have been written up for that. GC Services IS actually recognized by the BBB and I am almost 100% positive that this CSR didnt answer the way you claim she did. It seems that you are stretching to make bad news of this company.
All GC Service offices use PO BOX for mail correspondence between debtors because of the safety issue for employees. People do not like being reminded that they owe money and get FOUL and angry when they are asked to pay those bills. There have been several instances when someone who refuses to pay legitimate debt have shown up to confront employees. We do not give out our street address to debtors for the safety of our employees.
GC Services is a company that actually helped created the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA) which protects debtors from harassment from collectors. I have had some employees who have been terminated because they do not adhere to GC Services guidlines. We do NOT harass however we do pursue agressively those accounts which are delinquent and work with debtors to help them straighten out their financial affairs.
PLAIN AND SIMPLE we are not here to "scam" you as you claim but to get you back where you need to be financially
