Globe Movers, rip-off Dishonest quote No response to insurance claims Sunrise Florida
Globe Movers quoted us a move from Texas to Danmark. The quote stated that it included full destination services but then continued to state that all port, terminal and CSC charges were excluded. Having never ordered a move myself before, I assumed that what was excluded was extraordinary expenses. After all, "full destination services" were covered.
Globe Movers now ignores requests from its Danish representative to pay the bill for part of the destination services. The Danish mover agrees that the way the charges for port, terminal and CSC charges were disguised constitutes improper business practices.
The packing was done by an experienced local mover although a number of inexperienced people were on the team. As a result, much was damaged. The move was insured with all risk marine insurance but Globe Movers ignores any and all requests for information about how to file insurance claims, whether those claims come from me or Globe Mover's Danish representative.
In fact, from the point in time where I paid for the move, Globe Movers has ceased to respond to e-mail although they are not smart enough to prevent their systems from sending a receipt when they read my e-mails. When I call them, the person that can handle my request is never available.
