Goodman Heating & A/C - George Goodman Owner Homeowner ripped off. Worked on A/C and charged excessive amounts compared to 3 other companies in our area. Owner hung up on me when I called to report to him my complaint Gainsville Missouri
Worked on air-conditioner. Installed dye to check for leaks: charged $30, but never checked unit to see where it was leaking. Installed 3 pounds of refrigerant to unit at a charge of $40 per pound. Service charge was $75 and tax was $15.75 for a total bill of $240.75.
I compared his charges with 3 other companies. Average cost of freon was $20.15. Average service call was $56.50. I was overcharged by Goodmans by $59.55 on the freon and $18.50 on service call and $5.46 on tax. This is a total of $83.51 overcharge.
When I called to discuss this situation with him, he would not give me any satisfaction and weak explainations, and hung up on me.
