I worked for a company called Government Careers Inc. from 8/2009-92009. I started off in their sales dept and was moved to Customer Service Manager at the beginning of September 2009. This company was selling information on how to obtain jobs with the federal government. I was in charge of customer complaints, resending of materials ECT. By September 18 2009, my workload tripled and I was the only CSM. The reason for my workload tripling was that the company stared to get many complaints and credit card chargeback’s.

On the evening of September 29th, Mr. Friedberg the Vice President came into my office intoxicated, pulled out all my files out of my desk and spread them out on my desk. He began yelling me at me asking why some people had not been called, and I proceeded to tell him that despite my workload, I had contacted a lot of clients to address their issues and I had the email to prove it. From there he began a barrage of insults calling me everything to incompetent, lazy, dumb, and stupid and so on. A good 45 minutes later I was in tears while my co-workers and other business owners looked on. On September 30th, I wrote a letter to the President of the Company Jon coover asking for his help to keep Mr. Friedberg away from me so I could do my job and I  also to asked for assistance with my workload.

On October 2nd 2009 when I went to pick up my paycheck, I was only paid for 40hrs when in fact that week, I had worked 70 hours. On Saturday October 3rd, Mr. Rudy Cabrera, the office manager,  called me to inform me that Mr. Coover and Mr. Friedberg had decided to terminate me because they felt that "due to my health issues I could not handle the stress" I filed a complaint with the Arizona Attorney Generals Office Civil Rights Division for Discrimination  and I Was informed on October 18th 2010 that my case had been dismissed because of "lack of jurisdiction”. Mr. Coover and the Friedbergs also lied to the Arizona Attorney General’s office and the Arizona Industrial commission and denied that I had worked for them .

I am looking for an attorney to assist me with me case. I have already filed a complaint with the U.S. District Court in Tucson,CIV-11-11-TUC-GEE,   and an In Forma Pauperis motion,(Granted on January 26, 2011), after I received a Right to Sue notice from the EEOC. I also made a request to the U.S. district Court for assistance in helping me find an attorney to help me but I know that there is no guarantee that they will find one. If there is anyone out there who has bought a "packet" from GCI and would like their money back, please contact Noreen Matts at the Arizona Attorney Generals office in Tucson, AZ. The more people that come forward the easier it will be to put these scammers behind bars!
