Government Grant Association rip-off! Clearwater Florida
I received a call from a man with what sounded like an Indian accent telling me I qualified for a minimum of a $5,000.00 grant. I was thinking that sounded good.
So I went through the process and they have all my info. He asked me when I could pay for the $199.95 charge, and I said next week. They gave me a Contract ID #, I wrote it down just in case and gave me their customer service #877-408-1400.
After I hung up the phone I felt scared. So I called the customer service #, but a recording came on and said to call back during business hours M-F 11a-7p EST. I called several timesin the 9 o'clock hour PST today and still recieved the same recording.
I went online to their website (grantorloans.com) and could not get any info.. So I finally found this site and now I can't believe how stupid I was.
I tried calling back the number that was on my cell which was 866-647-9707, but that didn't work. I called back the customer service number and got through and a woman answered and transfered me to a man. I got the address and asked him to calcel my account. He said he did and his name was Nelson Rodriguez.
