Some advice for other business owners to avoid getting sucked into a similar scam... Some of these so called 'office supply' companies also have reps call you and say they're from the 'copy machine company' (not actually giving a company name) and they need the serial numbers from your copy machine. (that way it sounds more legit; or maybe they have a list of numbers that belong to certain brands in order to give the illusion that they actually are from your copy machine company) They're only attempting to send you overpriced paper for your copier in the same manner Margaret described above. I'd definitely siggest not giving these rip-off artists ANY info or better yet, just hang up on them.

Update to my original report: I have just found through the Better Business Bureau that this company is also known as Global Paper Supplies. It's possible they have an office in Eldorado, Arizona as well.

Update to my original GPS report: I compared the $320.01 price of the supplies we received from GPS with a local national office supply store and found the same items could be purchased for $31.85. That's a $288.16 diffrence - not bad if you can get away with it.
