I signed up for a listing of all the apartments, which they said they had. Upon giving them 300.00 dollars they had a terrible list of apartments, none in my price range and the ones I did see were to small. Since I was in a situation where I needed a apartment asap. I got one on craigs list. Since I signed a contract they refuse to give me my money back.

Since they never had any good listings in the first place, I feel i was ripped off. Do not

use this service. Be warned!!!!

If there are no good listings in your area and you can not find anything on this website they will not give you back your money. They have you sign a contract saying you have a certain amount of time if you find one on your own they are not going to give you your money back. There is not enough listings for a person of family to go through. How can you have 100 to 200 listed everyday if there are no good apartments to look at either too small or overpriced. This company is a clearly a rip off you should get your money back and make the consumer happy.$295.00 is to much money for just looking at apartments and you could look for free on other websites.

I don't really understand the last posting about Grand Central Apartments. I've work for GCA for about 2 years and in that time I've learned a lot about the real estate market here in Boston. In my honest opinion I feel like this is the best way to find an apartment. I know now that I would never pay a broker a months rent to find me a place, that strikes me as incredibly foolish. But the newspapers don't seem to have a very good selection and the quality of the places are not usually all that good. Craigslist is a great resource and works for a lot of people and I think that's great. But still, when you factor in all of the little elements that make up your desired criteria for what you want you're not left with very much. With GCA you pay $295 one time for access to their database of apartments. Now right off the bat you think "so what" but the reality is that the database is a collection of what people spending 8 hours a day searching for apartments all over boston in every available resource out there can come up with, including over 200 management companies that normally only use brokers to fill their apartments (so you're saving a bunch of money). We're talking about 2000 apts all updated and about 100-200 new everyday (that's like 5 craigslists)There is nothing else out there that can cater to peoples specific needs like GCA can. Also they will make appoinments for you, and provide 7 days a week assistance. If they can't find you a place there is a money-back guarantee. It seems to me to be a great deal, well worth the money and risk-free.
