Everything the person is saying is true. I also worked there for a few weeks and it was horrible. They train you on the fdcpa laws and require you pass it so you can be an employee. Then they put you in a cube next to someone who is breaking all the rules. The class I was in was introduced to the owner, Lamunt Cooper, after which I think I saw him almost every day and he would never smile or say hello to me. He did come out on the floor when I was there and not speak again, all he did was stare at you, I guess to try to make you feel the pressure. I did feel it and after 3 weeks of making $7.25 an hour I decided not to return. I have 15 years in collections, some 3rd party some direct, but I have never been anywhere that allows the collectors to treat customers or employees they way they did.
If you can investigate, you should because I am sure there is plenty you can find they are doing wrong.
I may have earned $500 in 3 weeks, but it cost me time, energy and effort. It is not worth it.
