Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Worked for this company for bout 2weeks almost. I came in thru a temp service and off the bat was advised by the owner Lamont Cooper that he hate temps because he knows that he has to pay them. However still rolled with the punches. When i got out on the floor i noticed that we were collecting on payday loans and credit cards which is fine but the method in which they want the people to collect. Number one if the loan that the consumer got is for 300 they double or triple the amount of the loan and say that they are agents or investigators and that they are gonna have people arrested or suspend licenses etc...honestly i didnt have to do that to collect i kept it real and was told that in order to survive im gonna have to say what the others are saying which i refused. Number one not gonna break the fdcpa and that's what you have to do otherwise they gonna give you the boot. i feel like this company should be investigated in various ways. threatening consumers, pretending to be law enforcement and or attorneys withholding employers paychecks etc. Was also an incident last week that one "director" of operations, lol got arrested for theft by deception hmmm you be the judge and figure that out but yet walks back in forth in the company as if he is untouchable but is a thief. I can go on and on but this company needs to be shut down. They are truly doing consumers wrong and taking all the peoples money and that is not fair @ all.

Everything the person is saying is true. I also worked there for a few weeks and it was horrible. They train you on the fdcpa laws and require you pass it so you can be an employee. Then they put you in a cube next to someone who is breaking all the rules. The class I was in was introduced to the owner, Lamunt Cooper, after which I think I saw him almost every day and he would never smile or say hello to me. He did come out on the floor when I was there and not speak again, all he did was stare at you, I guess to try to make you feel the pressure. I did feel it and after 3 weeks of making $7.25 an hour I decided not to return.  I have 15 years in collections, some 3rd party some direct, but I have never been anywhere that allows the collectors to treat customers or employees they way they did.

If you can investigate, you should because I am sure there is plenty you can find they are doing wrong.

I may have earned $500 in 3 weeks, but it cost me time, energy and effort. It is not worth it.
