Guardian Angel German Shepherds Laurie Hein, Daniel Hein Dog rehab scam Derby Kansas
The breeder Laurie Hein from Guardian angel German Shepherd's had a stud dog named Knight in White Satin. This dog became very ill and was losing weight from vomiting and diarrhea for months. The breeder and her husband got a diagnosis of chronic. pancreatitis for the dog. Laurie and Daniel Hein decided to put the dog to sleep. A person interested in their puppies offered to take the dog so he would not be put to sleep. The dog was skeletal and in a lot of pain. Both Laurie and her husband Daniel agreed to give the dog to this caregiver instead of putting him to sleep. This person took the dog into her home and nursed him. She took him to the veterinarian for help with his health. The dog put on weight and survived. When this caregiver added puppies to her home Laurie and Daniel Hein started demanding that the dog be given back. The caregiver did agree to give the dog back but did ask for veterinarian costs to be paid by the Hein's. The Hein's refused to pay any veterinarian expenses. Laurie Hein claims the caregiver vetted the dog on her own and not with the Hein's consent. Laurie Hein did not want to repay any expenses from the care of their dog. Daniel Hein reported the dog stolen in Kansas and Minnesota. Neither police agency would remove the dog from the caregiver home as they deemed him not stolen. Laurie Hein posted on social media that the caregiver gave the dog away and was harming him. The caregiver was harassed, bullied and threatened on social media . They had no written contract. Laurie and Daniel filed a lawsuit in KS for the dog return and their attorney fees. This caregiver is forced to hire an attorney to defend herself.
