Gutter Shutter refuses to honor lifetime guarantee on workmanship. San Carlos California
We contracted with The Gutter Shutter to replace all of gutters on our home. The bid to do the work was for over $6,000.00 and came with a "lifetime" guarantee.
During the summer a gust of wind blew a 15 foot section of the gutter off the house and to my amazement it was held on by a single metal screw!
I have called The Gutter Shutter at least a dozen times and only once was my phone call returned. The individual who called me said that our home would be scheduled for the repair. That was over two months ago and not a single call our a repairman has shown up to do the required repair.
In my estimation it would take less than 10 minutes to put this piece back up.

A representative from Gutter Shutter came to my home yesterday, 1/8/09, and made the necessary repair to my gutter. I am satisfied and the employee did a complete inspection of all of the gutters and added 3 screws to all of the 15 foot segments. The Gutter Shutter is very attractive and does work as advertised. Sincerely,
