Haband Company targets seniors by sending out $8.00 checks, when cashed you are billed $149.99 for membership in shopping club lanham, Maryland
Haband sends you an $8.00 check in the mail. Terms are listed on the back. When you cash the check, you are enrolled in Complete Home Company and Buyers Advantage Company, for $149.99 each for a total of $298 on your credit card. Haband gets your credit card number from any order you have placed with them by phone or mail for clothing. They advertise in fliers and supplements to newspapers. My 94 year old demented father cashed the check and was enrolled in both these shopping companies. I had to fax my Power of Attorney to be able to discuss this with Discover Card. I will be contacting the Florida Attorney General's office.
