Handbag Outpost, Handbag Outpost ,More Bag does not deliver--RIPOFF LUXURY BAG SELLER St Charles Illinois
On February 6, 2008, I placed an order for a MiuMiu bag ($599.00) that was advertised on the www.handbagoutpost.com site; I then received an email from them stating that they were running a special discount, so they refunded my credit card $50.00.
On February 18th, I still had not received my merchandised even though my credit card had been charged, so I requested the status of my order. I also left two different messages on the Handbagoutpost/More Bags phone, as a live person never answered the phone. Of course, I received no phone response, but I did receive an email message from Dianne Strauss on February 20th saying that my handbag was scheduled to ship on or before Thursday, February 28th and that if I had any additional questions to contact them.
On February 21st, I received an email from More Bags (773-913-2475, www.raffaelloteis.com) that my order had shipped and that it should arrive soon. Additionally on that date, I received a notice from USPS stating that they were electronically notified by the shipper to EXPECT a package for shipping and that delivery status information would be provided if/when available.
When I tried tracking the USPS label/receipt number, no information was ever available and the status always remained, "electronic shipping info received." On March 6th, I sent another status request email inquiring about shipment and received a response from Dianne Strauss stating that the company had tried to reach me by phone a few times (LIE) and that the shipment was returned to Handbagoutpost/More Bags as undeliverable and that they needed a good address to reship my package.
This company is a FRAUD. Never once did I ever receive a message at any of my phone numbers, nor was any USPS tracking information ever available that shipment actually took place, nor did I ever receive any "delivery attempt" notices from USPS.
HANDBAGOUTPOST/MORE BAGS/RAFFAELLOTEIS.COM is a fradulent, reprehensible company that has an enticing website that appears to be legitimate but is a huge FRAUD.
I have reported this fraudulent transaction to my credit card company and I will be reporting this company to the Better Business Bureau.
