The internet's a funny thing eh? I was doing some research, came across this complaint and I had to say something. I recently had a career change, But I worked with a manufacturer that distributes with HandiLift. I personally trained at least one gentleman from HandiLift Long Island who attended our program in Que. So as far as I know they are knowledgeable people. (PS small world mike n)

yes i was fired for yelling that i wasnt certified to installed the "so called porch lift" but for your records you may ask how many "lifts: i installed on my own not having any expierence or proper tools to do such a job.i would have felt horrible knowing that i installed this porch lift and the person using it would get hurt.in which i said many of times. there attitude was get it done the best you can and we will worry about it later. ask randy(owner) how many of his people he fired over the last year.i was fired refusing to a job.simple as that. he is a hard person to work for because his attitude was get it done no matter if its good or as long as it works for a while.then he will advoid you at all cost.yea he may have satisfied customers but the ratio is about 1 for every 50 that he installed.he is a person that cares for himself and nobody else.to make this matter all clear and see who is right and wrong ask the owner for a copy of MY certificate of training.and if he could prove i had one(in which he cant)i state my case. if he does prove it i have them on fraud. thanks for understanding in my side

I am a secretary @ Handilift and was in the office the day Anthony was fired. Anthony was not fired for refusing to install a handicap lift, he was fired for having a bad attitude and volatile temper. On the day in question, Anthony was asked to deliver a "porchlift" to the installation sight, not to install it. After being asked to deliver the lift, Anthony lost his temper and proceeded to scream and yell @ the girls in the office that he did not want to do the job because he would get back to the office late. After many rounds of this yelling, Anthony left, completed his job, and returned to the office earlier than expected. All of our technician are factory trained and certified and documentation stating such is available. We have been in business for 27 years, are a member of the Better Business Bureau, and have a long list of satisfied customers. Please do not listen the the rantings and ravings of an ex-employee who was fired for just that, ranting and raving. To confirm Handilift's credibility, log onto www.bbbnj.org (the Better Business Bureau's web page) and do a search on Handilift. You will see for yourself that Handilift stands by its guarantee of customer's satisfaction.
