I received a call from a gentleman stating that he had been trying to reach me for a free gift. I was about to hang up, and he pleaded for me to listen to him. He said I would only have to go to a seminar and would receive my free gift, but the seminar was the next day! I said OK and to myself said I would just go and receive my free gift and not buy anything.

When you arrive, more than one person talks to you, showing you how this is such a great deal for you nad your family. They show you multiple films, computer reels, and books to make you think this is such a great investment. I got sucked into the family vacations and agreed to sign up. They ran my credit and gave me a Bank of America credit card with the balance of $2500.00 paid to them as my down payment. Leaving, I began to have second thoughts and awaited the next business day that they were open and went in and cancelled my timeshare. The form was faxed to the "home office" and I was told it would take approx. 10 business days to return the money to the card (3/20/07).

Well, needless to say, the end of the month came and went without any change in the amount owed by ME! I began calling the customer service number daily. I finally spoke with a woman named, Debbie, who told me that the gentleman in charge of refunding accounts wasn't in but she had seen him working on my account and would have him call me. He never called and after that day, I never spoke to a live person again!! I have been trying to find other ways to contact the company. I have now found out that this company is defunct and there's no way to get in touch with anyone from that office.

The St. Johann Alpenland Resort exists but I've never received any packet from them and today I received a letter stating I owed maintenance fees to them! The person I spoke with told me of the company not existing and all hopes of me collecting my money went out the window!

I feel so used, naive, and gullible at this point. I'm stuck with a bill I didn't incur and 2 small children who need things daily! This is so unfair! Can someone help me and all of these other people that trusted them?

David and Lisa are no longer at Crown Point Resort, however they still have a residence in Horseshoe Bend, Ar. They are not there, and don't know where they are.
