Haynes Furniture ripoff! Never keeps their promises. Virginia Beach Virginia
We purchased a sectional on 9/1/03 (cash by the way) to be told it was all in the warehouse so we set up delivery for 10/9/03 due to remodeling of our home. We were told no problem just call the day before to confirm with delivery what time they may be there.
Well I made the call on 10/8/03 to find out that Haynes had sold a portion of my sectional that supposedly was in the warehouse and could not get it to us until 10/25/03. So on 10/24/03 I called delivery to check once again on the time and was told my sectional was still not in. I contacted the store on 11/4/03 and spoke with a salesman who assure me it was on a truck that day and my sales person would call to let me know when delivery would be.
Well here we are on 11/6/03 and guess what I received a call from my daughter that Haynes showed up with a sectional for delivery. NO CALLS! NO NOTICE! I am currently on hold with Haynes as I type this, and I want you to know I have now been on hold for approx. 45 minutes! I will never ever shop there again.
Well someone has just answered the call and identified himself as Derryl the assistant store manager. he is going to have the delivery truck come back to my home at 5pm and he is giving me my delivery charges back (oh boy-that still doesn't make me want to ever shop there again)!!!
