July 2009 I ordered what I thought was 1 magazone for a set price. In the recoreded call I stated I wanted to be charged for that amount only once. I am still paying for that call. I have yet to receive the magazine I thought I was ordering or any of the three others I ended up unknowingly ordering.



In October I called to try to get my subscription. As usual, I reached the answering sersvice even though I called during business hours. I left a message on both the website and telephone message service to contact me to get the magazines sent to me.



I received a call from Heartland. Just today I found out it was a call from the sales department not customer serivce. Thinking I was talking to customer service, I stated the four magazines I wanted to receive and verified the credit card.



I just found out today, they started a second completely new subscription for me. I am not on their do not call list, I hope. I only want return calls when I call them.



Stay away from them. Do not give any information to them. They record only parts of calls, not the entire call. THey are out to take money from anyone. If I was not looking for a job where I need a complete clear background, I would stop payment and never deal with them again.



Always say that  you do not take telephone solicitations when answering a sales call.
