HIgh Beam Research not available they charged my credit card automatically without informing me on my email. i did not receive confirmation for a permanent account. i never knew i had the account till i got charged. Internet
just today i saw in my credit card statement from a compnay in USA. I had know idea what the compnay is about neither could i recall ever using it. after googling the name and the customer service number i finally found the website.
From the website i got the customer service number and called the compnay immediately. the lady took my card details n informed me that i had used the trial account last year october i.e. 2009 and after the 7 day trial period the account automatically becomes a permanent account (without any notification) and finally after a year i am being charged for it (they are assuming that it is a annual account i guess) i called the credit card company to block the card cancel it and replace it as soon as possible. And i came to know either ways i will have to make the payment since it shows in the credit card ststement. I tried calling highbeam research again but nobody responded. Also, when i spoke to the customer service representative of highbeam the firt time she told me that she will escalate the problem to her manager and i will receive the email from him within 24 hours. Now after reading around on the internet i came to know that im not the only one who has become the victims of this scam, there more people i read those cases and came to know abt the Ripoff Report website from there.
Please advise...i dont know what to do????????/
