Hmong College Prep Academy Hmong College Prep Hmong Charter School - is a family business ripping off students, families & public dollars! Nepotism & Conflict of interests in hiring decisions are rampant. St. Paul, Minnesota
Unaware and trusting Hmong parents all over the Twin Cities Metro area unknowingly enroll their children at Hmong College Prep Academy school. Most, unaware of their rights as parents and citizens take little notice of all the unethical business decisions being made before there very eyes.
First you have a wife and husband team as the top administrators of the school. Between the two of them they are banking in the upwards of $200,000/year. To make matters worse, the wife directly supervises her husband and is in charge of his performance evaluations and reccomendation for raises (of course).
Next you have the rest of the family. Almost every Hmong person employed there is a relative (I kid you not). From nieces to grandkids to visiting family members, you can bet each is counting on a paycheck courtesy of YES, our TAX Dollars.
Rumors, most with some truth to them, circulate constantly about misuse of funds, or minimization of funding to support what is most important; the education of poor urban Hmong students. With an almost 100% free and reduced lunch rate (indicates poverty), it is an insult to see that Hmong College Prep Academy Administrators remain fashionable (wife and husband team: Chrisitanna Hang and Pao yang) while students struggle to come to school everyday with clean uniforms. It is not uncommon to find them sporting luxury brand name clothing, accessories, and vehicles at the expense of the public.
Why not file a complaint with the school board? You may have guessed by now- consider them extended family. Family stick together right?
So about these poor students and parents, the community, all taxpayers/citizens won't we put an end to this abuse of public dollars? Hope someone is listening.
