I was introuble with my lender, Countrywide. I didn't know what to do and I went online and found HOMEASSURE. I spoke to a representative named Neil. He was what I call compassionate to my needs and understanding to my situation. I explained in detail about what I was dealing with and that a sale date had been issued and I didnt know what to do. He told me that he would pretend he didnt hear about the sale and he would help me work out an agreement with my lender. The fee was $1500.00. I filled out the paperwork and faxed it to the representative. He told me not to worry a mitigator would begin the process immediatley. He also stated the mitigator would call me right away. Well I bought a certified check and sent it over night. I talked to them the next day and they had my money and call it a miracle they already had a workout in place and my mitigator would be calling me. I thought I was safe. I asked for the mitigators name and number and was given Penny and her number. I called her and told me herself she had never spoke to Countrywide yet and we didnt have an agreement yet. I explained what I had been told by the rep and she told me he was honest. I have since worked out my issue with my lender, ON MY OWN with no help from homeassure. I have repeatedly emailed and called many different people and they will not call me back. I get emails telling my a "workout" agreement will be mailed by the 2nd week of septemeber, thats 2 weeks after my sale date. They will not or have not yet responded to my request for a full refund. They ignore me. They know what they have done is wrong. They know they mislead people. I even have a nasty voice mail on my home phone from the rep but that is it. I think there needs to be some justice here and they need to refund people thier money.

Please enlighten me on the professional skills you use to get workouts for your clients. I used to do loss mitigation for one of the larger servicing companies in existence. The only reason you guys don't want the customers to contact the mortgage company is because you don't want them to explain that they wasted thier money on your "services".

It amazing how everyone on here is blaming Home Assure for all the misfortunes of their situation. First of all, how could you be entitled to any sort of refund, when clearly they are doing and did what they said they would do? Secondly, who the hell told you to get involved and call your mortgage company, that was stupid. Of course the mortgage company has told you they never got a call from Home Assure, Home Assure doesn't speak to the collections department!!! Further more, if you would have read the documentation from Home Assure, that YOU SIGNED, you would have understood that if you get involved and screw things up, its on you not Home Assure. Last but not least oh ye of many lies, if you truly did or could've handled this situation, you would've never called Home Assure or any other professional organization seeking help. So I encourage you to spend the time learning how to read and take accountability for your actions, rather than posting your rants with no thought or education.

I jsut got an email this morning, 9-5-08 from Niel Ferigno of Home Assure. He stated that no matter how many rip dot coms I complain I will never ever get a refund. He stated that it was all my fault and that I am not entitled to any refunds and to have a good life. They still refuse to contact me by phone and say they got a plan together. My lender says as of this day they have never had any conversations with Home Assure or any 3rd party represenatives.
