I work for At home services of the Home depot. I would like to ask you several questions. 1) Were you not given a completion certificate to sign? If so why did you sign it before you were satisfied? 2) You mentioned delays. What kind of delays? Was it material issues? Your personal scheduling issues? What caused them? 3) How do you know that they were the lowest bid? Or rather who said anything about being the lowest bid? I am really curious as in minneapolis we pay a premium for our installers. Nationwide we run less than a 3% turnover in installers. 4) Have you called our 1 800 number to deal with your satisfaction/err disatisfaction issues? Have you talked to the Installation manger of the sales branch? The number should be listed upon the completion certificate or upon your contract. 5) I work in installed roofing and I can unequivicollay state that the claims of "Half-a** contractors doing half-a** work" are not the desire of the company. If you reported this back to the Home Depot and that the crew did not make it right, the crew that did this job are no longer working for the Home Depot. I have seen slop jobs happen, I have seen crews redo it or another crew dispatched to redo it. We employ humans and humans make mistakes. We strive to minimize them however things do go wrong, it is the nature of the business. However if you have not voiced your opinions to the people that can help it is impossible to resolve your issues. Please answer my questions as I most interested in the answers and possible resolution. Ron Minneapolis, MN USA
