Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I purchased a windows hosting for my domain in hostrequest.net (which has hostrequest.com also) for about 60 dollars a year.

I had a service for about 1 week, then the e-mails started to fail. Then.... hostrequest said in their homepage that the backbone or something failed them and they could no longer gave the service to their customers for the time being.

I waited until a "heavenly" solution came to earth. It took about 3 weeks. Then hostrequest was online again. But surprise to me! .. the windows hosting that I purchased was no longer available. I should stick with linux. I didn't want that, so I prefered my money back. The date was about october of 2002 (aprox, I don't remember very well)

They said that the money back order will take about 6 weeks. I waited about 9. Then, "support" of hostrequest never gave me an answer till january. They said the money back requires from me an address (maybe they were trying to send it to me to my home??) . I gave the address. No replies since a week ago.

They now say that the money order was here (I live in Chile) on february 2nd. What do you think? it wasn't like that. I never received my 60 dollars. They said I need a notorized letter from my gobernment that states I never received the money order (?)

I don' know what a notorized letter means. I don't know how to get one. And if I could get one, they'll never sign anything for something that never happened (receiving the money).

Support "team" from hostrequest said that it'll block my email account because I'm making too many questions I guess. Well, I don't live in USA.

A lesson to me: never pay anything to unknown ripoff companies that lives in their own cloud up above anyone that pays them.

I hope they'll be broke soon. 60 dollars is a lot in my country.

Here's a quote of the last e-mail they sent to me

-----------------------

The money order number is 70185123481 00298 785410 for the amount of $50.05 ($60-(mail and processing fee)) as per TOS. This is more information then we are allowed to give without the signed notorized letter. Any further

inquries into this subject without the signed notorized letter will be ignored, and this email address will be blocked from our servers.

Thank You

HostRequest.com Security Team

What do I do with that number?????? it's WORTHLESS TO ME!!! that's the reason they can't "investigate" why they didn't send me the money!!

Very disgusted and angry with US hosting companies (specially this """"company""""
