Houston Carpet Cleaning Chicago Carpet Cleaning Ripoff!! $140.00 for less than half hour of work Houston , Texas
Beware!!! Houston Carpet Cleaning is the most unprofessional, unscrupulous service I have ever had the misfortune to do business with. I contacted Houston Carpet Cleaning to steam clean 2 rooms just the walk areas roughly 250-300 square feet tops. I was told by Shelly (assistant to the manager) $89.00 plus tax. Tuesday we canceled because of we didnt think we would be available between 10AM-12PM then on Wednesday evening we called and had them come out for service anyway. The tech that came out was of Spanish decent asked if he spoke Spanish he declared he is not Spanish in a rude manner. This guy arrived at 5:51PM, call it 5-10 minutes to review the rooms that need to cleaned and setup his equipment. This guy went over the carpet once claimed he shampooed and deodorized, however the carpet looked the same the steam cleaning did not even get up a coca cola stain. As of 6:35PM the tech was packing his things and requesting payment of not $89.00 as quoted but $140.00 the carpet looks as if nothing has been done. The next day we call the manager, was told he is not in the office was passed off to the assistant Shelly whom said she will get to the bottom of this. After a few hours shelly calls back and tell me the tech that went out has worked for her for years, and is very good with customer service and cannot believe he would lie about a job. Shelly said the tech called in after an hour and a half of work and refuses to believe he would lie when he has a signed invoice that we the customer agreed to $140.00. Shelly then said she will talk to the tech at about 7PM Thursday and we will talk on Friday morning. Friday morning awaiting a call from Shelly, by 11:30AM I decided to call and find out what is going, Shelly it seems is off on Fridays and had no intention of making that follow up call. We have had to call another carpet cleaning company to which has cost us a total of over $250.00 dollars thanks to Houston Carpet Cleaning all we wanted was someone to come out and clean the carpet, do the job we paid for. Instead we had to have another company do the job Houston carpet cleaning was supposed to do. Do not do business with these folks you will just end up calling someone else.
