 they offer a free month of service but require a card for a hold, they take out the $40 hold then charge the account 50.58 for the first month( which was suppose to be free) after calling to get back the 90 we were told it takes 5-7 business days... afgtere 2 weeks they said they credited my hughsnet account i told them i want my money back because the service stinks and I was suppose to receive a free month .. still waiting.. contacted att.general in pa about them already.. iof you are thinking of joining hughsnet do not walk.. RUN away from them as fast as you can... service/tech support and so far everything is so bad I cancelled service and want nothing to do with them
