Dealing with identical situation that the other person posted. Had furniture delivered to me. Bait and switch delivery tactics. Advertise free front entrance delivery but got to my house and said that didn't include the steps to my front door. Drove off with my furniture. Had to call Humble Abode after many attempts of no one answering the phone.

Had to pay $75 in shipment costs to get my furniture released. It was finally delivered. Boxes were torn, punctured, ripped, water damaged. One piece had visible damage because the box was barely there. Delivery guy got out the truck and said that my shipment was in horrible condition and advised m not to accept it and wrote it on my shipment slip that all boxes had damage. Took me up on the truck.

I took 20 pictures of everything I could. I refused the shipment and 2 months later they are having the Freight company continuously call me. They want me to sign for it which will make me responsible to send it back and pay restocking and shipment costs. I would also have to replace all the packaging since i can use what's on the furniture now because of all the damage. Did a chargeback on my credit card but they told me that doesn't matter and they will sue me anyway.
