Been a while since I checked out this site, but not surprised to see the complaints continue, first of all the "employee" whe offered the apology is the owners son, Jordan, who never at any time had anything to do with this job, secondly, at the time IGK held NO licenses at all, depending on subcontractors for their licenses, so his job of being in charge of their licenses must have been an easy one.
If you even allow IGK, IGK Design Group, Floridabathrooms.com or any of the many company names registered to Greg, Gregor or Gregory Kohn to come anywhere near your house, you are crazy!, simply do a Google search using his name and you will see a ton of websites with complaints against this company, they have tried to load up the review sites with favorable reviews, but even a cursory glance will tell you that the glowing reviews are fake, there is even a website called http://igkdesigngroupsucks.com/
Better still contact Broward County Consumer Affairs Division (even though they obviously pretty ineffective) they will tell you about they mountain of complaints against this company

My name is Jordan with IGK Enterprises I am responsible for managing all of our State and County licenses, of which we hold eight with NO complaints with the DBPR. I also make sure that all or our licenses are insured with Liability and Worker's Comp. In addition, I keep close contact with all of the municipality building departments in the tri-county area (Broward, Dade, Palm Beach) to ensure our projects are permitted, our contractors registered and inspections passed. As far as receiving money up-front, our terms are 50%/50%, 25%/25%/50%, 50%/25%/25%, 25%/25%/25%/25% or if it's a larger addition, then the terms are progress/completion according to the AIA documents of the contract. Never 100% up front. I found this complaint when searching the internet. We promptly address ALL concerns immediately as they are brought to our attention because of the thousands of customers we have, we have few complaints. I stumbled upon this complaint by accident thru this 3rd party website, which explains the delayed response. To start, I can say that we never have and never will expect payment for "licenses" as this poster wrote. Our licenses only cost us the fee associated with renewal and Continuing Education credits, which is done every two years and which is DEFINITELY NOT charged to the customers. This poster may have us confused with a different company. If not, than I urge the poster to please contact us immediately so we may clarify. Anyway, I looked thru our database and was unable to locate any customers in Fort Luaderdale with the first name 'Alex' or with the email address '[email protected]'. So I can't confirm the validity of this post. I can however offer an apology to any of our customers that experienced delays in their project due to the affects of Hurricane Wilma. For those of you not local to South Florida, in October of 2005, Hurricane Wilma struck the Tri-County area leaving 80% of FPL's customers without power for about two weeks. In addition, there was such widespread damage that the building departments were crippled in issuing permits and performing inspections. In fact, several Building Departments are still 4 weeks behind with performing inspections (see Sunrise, Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, etc..). During this unforeseen and extended down-time, there were customers who's projects took longer than expected. For this, we have, and still do, apologize extensively. We have a great office staff that worked several days after hours to help accomodate these customers and we went to great lengths to remain in contact. We are a reputable company. We are licensed and insured. We are affiliated with every nationally recognized Remodeling organization. We have a database of thousands of customers. Some customers understand delays beyond our control (ie. weather, building departments, etc.) and some customers do not. Again, with regards to weather delays, we can only offer our apology.
