I went to IHOP some time last semester. I ordered the Big Steak Omelette without onions. When it arrived, I inspected it because I dslike onions very much. I found onions in the omelette, so I notified my server. She apologized and took it back. My friend didn't want to eat his food while I was just sitting there, but I did not want his food to get cold. I received my 2nd omelette, and again I inspected it. I was confident that they would not make the same mistake twice. However, they did. I was hungry and upset. By this time my friend was finished eating, so we decided to just leave. Our server apologized again. She gave us our check and told us that the manager would have to remove the omelette from our bill. As we walked to the register, we could hear our server yelling at the cooks about my order. We told the cashier/host why we were not paying for the omelette. She turned to the manager who was sitting in a booth talking to someone (a friend?). He was livid that we refused to pay for the omelette. He called over our server, and yelled at her. I felt bad for our server because it was not her fault. My friend defended the server, and we suggested that his cooks read more clearly next time. We paid for my friend's meal, and gave our server a big tip right in front of the manager.
