I recieved an email from [email protected]. Trusting this email since the address comes from a government website I opened it. I previously looked at INDEED.COM for admin assistant jobs since i just got out of the military. A few days later I get this email and this is what it says :

I would like to take this time to welcome you to our hiring process and give you a brief synopsis of the position's benefits and requirements. If you are taking a career break, are on a maternity leave, recently retired or simply looking for some part-time job, this position is for you.Occupation: Flexible schedule 2 to 8 hours per day. I googled her email and it brought me to the "US OFFICE of PERSONELL MANAGEMENT", Ok, it seems like she found me from a legit source. I responded to her about details and interests. She then responded with a different email of "[email protected]" and proceeded to tell me that their admin assistant position had been filled but wanted to offer me a "KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER" position and these were the details:

US$ 725 per week is your !!!GUARANTEED!!! BASIC salary. The guaranteed salary is money that you will get no matter the circumstances. Plus you will receive 8% from each transaction you process.  It will lead to the AVERAGE pay of US$ 1,525 per week.I would like to confirm once again that this is a unique job offer  from our company and this position is limited. Please note that our employee turnover is less than 5% annually, which is just an excellent ratio! So do not waste your time and join us today! With an excellent base guaranteed salary (you know you will always have a paycheck and paying your bills will never be an  issue!), fantastic bonuses and commission structure in place it won't be long before you will be earning the dollars you are worth.

Heck, who wouldnt be interested in that kind of pay right? I furthered examined them, and they look like what APPEARS to be a legit website, and it is fairly convincing. Everything she said kind made sense. I sent her my resume, had an OVER THE PHONE interview with some retarded guy who asked 5 measly questions, and the next day was told i PASSED and she sent me the "EMPLOYEE AGREEMENT", yes i signed it.. I also noticed that she never really responded to any specific questions i asked her unless it was a straight "NO" answer.

I sent her the agreement and she gave me the web address to their HR PORTAL where i had to register again for this website. That day i got what i was told was my "1st assignment". The assignment was that i had to go to my bank and transfer funds from MY ACCOUNT via western union to somebody. She hadnt told me who unless i confirmed that i could do it. I said yes i can. She then asked if i would be able to pull out $9000 that she was going to wire me IN CASH...that was supposed to go to JOE SHMOE(i dont know who) for thier supposed "software development"

Ok hold up now, this is starting to look fishy. I talked to a guy who works at a bank dealing with security n he said this would raise a red flag at the bank n probably put me under investigation- OH HELL no im thinkin. I responded to this "Michelle Longley" or who she claims to be and told her that i would be pending an investigation if i was wired money and had to decline my offer. (this convo is directly thru thier HR PORTAL) She responded and said "OK, i will terminate the employee agreement and your portal access will be deleted in 24-hours"

The next day i went to the bank and closed my account and reopened a new one. No money was transfered but i didnt want to risk the chance. She hasnt contacted me since. After I did some further research about some ppl with the same issue as i on this ripoff website of this company depositing money and then pulling the money right back out of thier account and putting them in debt. They do this so that they can make claims and steal your money, which you will be held liable for. I am so glad i stopped this before it got too far and that other people with this issue reported it cuz if they hadnt i wouldnt have known and would have gotten scammed. if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is. If you run into an insurance company that sends you emails like this, report it or flag it.

This is a SCAM! Do Not Trust!
