Have used earlier versions of ACT software and have put up with the quirks and bugs because thats the system we had and the database is big now. Then another bug showed up that they can't (as in, won't spend the time and money) fix so they got us to upgrade to 6.0. Of course, that didn't fix the bug (they say it's something in our machine, but of course we haven't changed, installed or done anything and all of our other software works fine!) and now another more serious bug has cropped up, but since it's past the 30 day refund period, we can't get a refund.

They also know the bugs are there! They have information posted on their web site (if you know how to find it) with detailed steps on how to supposedly fix the problem. But those "fixes" don't fix the problems and they wan't $3.95 a minute to tell you that the problem isn't their buggy software.

Once you start using it and run your business on it, they know it's expensive to convert to something else so I guess they think you have to live with it.
