Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I have a big problem with IPA to put it simple They are a huge scam.

Gary Kent Senior Business Analyst came out for pretty much the whole day to see if we qualified being a good guy he fought for us to get us approved for the next step. Winning my trust. He said we were approved on a contingency basis. We did not have to pay anything unless I was completely satisfied.

I was told IPA could help us get a bank loan and that IPA could build our sales back up to 3.5 million in less than a year. Gary said he called market experts and said we could easily obtain this market share in that time frame. I told Gary the only way we could pay IPA is if we got a bank loan. He said do not worry if we do not deliver do not pay us we are taking all the risks.

Gary kept the contract agreement in his position pretty much the whole time at the end of the day he read it and explained it to me of coarse leaving out some crucial parts. I asked Gary for some referrals before signing the agreement. He said the project manager can give them to me. I was told again do not worry if you are not completely satisfied we do not have to pay anything we are taking all the risks. This was on a Thursday

That next Monday They sent two people out when one would have done just fine. You sent out William Scheyer Senior Project Manager and Craig Carnahan Senior Business Consultant.

William was a whole different guy after one thing and one thing only "MONEY" Asking questions like "Okay who can you get by not paying on your accounts payable?" So after a hour of introduction. William said that "We do not work on a continency basis". I told William this is what Gary Kent said. He said it does not matter what Gary said only what mattered is the contract that I signed.

After about four hours of going back and forth I told William I felt like I was being scammed and asked them to leave. He wanted another hour for Craig to finish his report I allowed it.

The report that Craig did was a joke in no way was a accurate or realistic view of our sales forecasts. My nine year old could do better. This I am very unsatisfied not to include Craig was having some type of with draws from drugs or something.

After five hours I had all I could take I finally had to demand William and Craig to leave. William said he had to give me a invoice that I had to pay before they could leave. I told William I am not going to pay them that I was not satisfied with their service.

They asked for payment again before they could leave. I then told them you can not force me to write a check. I am a very large guy, I think I scared them a little the second time I told them to leave.

That night I went home and typed in the search words IPA SCAM wow was I supprised. I had looked a few days before but at just IPA's website. That looks great, Of coarse it does they created it they can put anything there they want. Yes their website makes them look great. But add a little word scam gives you a whole new picture.

The bill was for $6,000.00 for 5 hours work. I was contacted by there legal department in a demand to pay this $6,000.00. I responded with a letter similar to this. Their legal department said they would settle for $1,200.00 if I paid now. Otherwise they are going to sue me in the courts of Illinois.

These guys need to be stopped I can not believe this type of fraud. Someone like Bill O'Rilley needs to put these guys on the Factor.

If anyone has any ideas Please Help

#2UPDATE EX-employee responds

Wed, November 23, 2005

First Terry, I would like to apologized for all the trouble you have been through. I had an interview with this company and got hired by them but I quickly turned them down. I went in for the interview and the guy just asked me a bunch of questions and then hired me. I knew something was wrong then because the guy who was sitting next to me was obviously a drug addict and they hired him too. I keep asking what the job description was and they kept going around the subject, saying how I could make a thousand dollars every paycheck. As I wasing leaving the interview all of these guys kept harrassing me and making vulgar comments. I went the first day and I realized that it was a sale job, which the company tells you that they are not. After that first day I decided not to go back. I told my rep that it was not what I expected and I would not be returning. After that I kept getting these harrassing calls from this guy that worked ther telling me I should come bak to work there and I need to be more responsible. I found that kind of strange and looked them up on the internet. I found out that this company is ripping off businesses and the President of the company and other male employees are being sued for sexual harrassment. Matter of fact two of the ladies suing were on the Oprah Winfrey Show a couple of months ago. The whole company is a bunch of ripoffs and I think you should type in this companies name on the search engine on this site, because other people have been ripped off by them too. You should also look into getting an attorney in illinois because what this company is doing is not legal. That's why they do alot of their business outside of illinois because that is the state that they can be sued in. Once again sorry that you got mixed up with these crooks.
