===================== NOW TO THE ORIGINAL REPORT THAT WAS FILED

===================== IPA SALES MANAGER TELLS ALL!! Buffalo Grove Illinois

I was just hired by IPA two weeks ago and went through training last week. After the telemarketer calls you to schedule an appointment I am the one who comes in to sell you on bringing in an Analyst. The recruiter who hired me was very slick and made this seem like the best opportunity in the world. Unfortunately I did not do my due dilligence which is not like me, but this guy was good and I thought I just hit the jackpot. I was not selling and picking up checks, my job was to meet with prospective clients and schedule an Analyst for the next day.

I went for a week of training with 25 or so other new sales reps from across the country. My class started on July 9th 2007. There is a script that you MUST memorize verbatim. They tell us how we can help every company that is doing a minimum of $650k in sales a year and give them a minimum of a 3-1 return on their investment.

The approach is: we go in and meet with the business owner and try to instill fear that eventhough they have been in business for years without us and are successful that their business will fail unless we come in and help them out now. This is a one call close. There were a few things that made me cautious about whether this was all they made it out to be. For starters at the end of the sales call I must use the prospects phone to call our office. If you are ready to schedule an appointment I use your phone to call in and schedule. However if you are not interested or need to think about it, I still call in and tell them from your office. That is when the guy on the other end will ask to speak to you. If you thought that the telemarketer or myself was tuff, get ready for this guy. This guy will do everything to get you to say yes.

The company schedules our appointments for us. My first appointment was with an individual not too far from my house. When I got there the lead sheet with all the contact information said he was "open minded, and looking forward to meeting with me". When I asked the receptionist for him she looked at me like I was crazy. I told her I had an appointment with him and she said he was getting ready to leave. She took my card and went to get him.

When he came out and greeted me he told me he will show me to the door. A nice older man who was not happy that we were there again. He said he dealt with us in the past and that his business was doing just fine. Today he is still in business for one reason. After we got done with him when he finally fired us he had recently paid off his house and was able to take out a second mortgage on his home to pay everybody back.

We offer you an Analysis of your company that you do not pay for unless you are completely satisfied with it. That ranges anywhere from around $350 to $2,500 depending on the size of your business. After that is done we encourage you to hire us to implement the reccomendations. Obviously this is not cheap. He told me that he has asked them to stop calling him atleast twice a week, and to please stop sending sales reps in. He also told me he has an ongoing harrasment lawsuit against us. I felt so bad for this guy and apologized from the bottom of my heart. I told him this was my very first appointment and I was only going where they told me to go. He understood and was not angry with me but with the company. That is when I started asking some serious questions. I was thrilled about the company and thought this was the best company in the world. I could not believe the telemarketer who booked this so called appointment for me. She had the nerve to put down that he was looking forward to meeting me!!!

After I was escorted out of the building I decided to do something that I was taught in training never to do, call the next appointments. I did and sure enough almost the exact same thing. I called to verify the appointment and both of them told me not to come and that they told the lady not to send me. They said they have no interest in meeting with me, have used us in the past and want nothing to do with us again. Somehow on the bottom of these sheets it said both these companies were also looking forward to meeting with me. I called a number of people who I became friends with from the class. They all had very similar experiences. One rep. went to an appointment scheduled the day before only to find when got there that the person he was looking for was dead. But he did manage to agree to meet with us from the beyond the grave.

When I got home after talking to a bunch of people I started looking up this company. I have not heard any down side to the company or using their services. They never even mentioned any risk. What I found shocked me. The owner John R. Burgess was disbarred from New York after pleading guilty to Grand Larceny and engaging with a 16 year old prostitute. He was a convicted felon that somehow seemed to slip everybodys mind during the recruiting process. The complaints on the sites I found blew me away. The RICO investigations, the fraud lawsuits, the BBB unsatisfactory rating with over 400 complaints in 3 years alone, the largest sexual harassment lawsuit ever filed by the Chicago office of Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. They are also very large contributors to the Democratic Politicians in Illinois, and almost all the money that has been donated has been given back due to it being from a tainted source.

I obviously have resigned from my position and when I spoke with the few managers and told them why, one manager tried to convince me how this was my fault and I need to change my attitude to succeed. I had a bad attitutde after my first appointment. I should have asked to use his phone to call our offices and get him off the list and then put him on the phone with the closer. I should have gone out all day and done walk and talks and tried to meet other businesses who were fortunate not to have already heard of us. Whatever he was trying to say he told me how all those problems were in the past. This guy who I met with earlier stopped our program before it was over and that is why he didn't see the results. I asked him when the program would have been over. I knew the answer already, after the money is all gone and he has to file chapter 7 or 11.

I am sorry I every got suckered into this company and I am glad I found out now so that I can say I have not hurt anybody or their business. I feel bad for those companies who have lost money with IPA and want to warn you that if you get any calls or if anyone stops in your business from IPA and wants to talk to you, SAY NO!
