J Cross Marketing fraudulent billing Unknown Unknown
On Febuary 26, 2003, I recieved a phone call from a tellemarketer claiming I had won "free" magazine subscrptions in a sweepstakes I had previously entered via an unknown source. I half listened to what the individual was saying and told them I was not interested after being told that I was going to be charged $58.16 for 12 months.
I recieved another call trying to confirm my acceptance of the above the very next day and I AGAIN told them that I was not interested. The individual on the line assured me that I would not be billed and a letter of "cancellation" would be mailed in about a week. The very same day of the second call, $58.16 was charged to my account with "J Cross Marketing" as the creditor.
I been unsuccessfull in trying to get my hands on their so called "1-800" number. I want to get my hands on the F***** who schemmed this s*** up.
