Complaint Review: Jewelry Television - Knoxville Tennessee

JTV/Jewelry Television is the worst place to shop or bid on auction items.  They send out watches with dead batteries, or the watch is running and stops in 2-3 weeks, the warrenty is missing, etc.  I want to know what happens to the plastic tabs that are in place so the batteries in these watches will not run.  Are we buying used watches?  hmm, they never give a answer.  I could see if it happens here and there, but I can tell you I have bought over 25 watches from this company and two, maybe two, came with the plastic tab in place.  Is it legal for them to not tell us that the item my be used, may have a dead battery?  Well last night I was wearing a set of rings that the host said was 18K over s/s, this is our Bella Luce Line, the best there is.  This is solid s/s with 18K over it, hmm.. I was washing my hands and I noticed that a diamond sim. fell out, so I tried to take the ring off and it was stuck!  Finally I got it off and to my amazement it was oval, the ring bent.  I could not believe it.  I thought did the hot water do that.  Well I ran the hot water over the ring and yes is started to bend, geez what is in this ring.  Is it hollow, is it filled with something, I can't tell you, I e-mailed them and did not get a response.  Do not order item #BLP386 or anything else from them.  Here are just a few of the problems I have had.  They send out necklaces with the beads all in the bottom of the bag, earrings with bent post, s/s chains they say are either plat./rhod. overlay and they tarnish in a few days, chipped and/or missing stones, and on and on.  NOW FOR THE AUCTION SITE.  I won a few auctions that JTV cancelled all on their own.  Never even notified me, Here I am with a e-mail of my congradulations you won and my your order was received e-mail waiting for the item only to check and see it was cancelled.  So I call, one time they said my payment did not go thru, Lie, I even offered to have my bank call them, they did not want to hear it, then I won a ruby 3ct. same thing got all my e-mails, waiting, waiting, after 12 days it said cancelled.  So I called again, this time they said the stone was to damaged to send out.  Huh, you mail out defected stuff all the time.  I said the picture of the ruby look very good, well that is not the item it is just a representation, is this legal?  The customer service rep. said well there was only one up for auction so we had to cancel, I said if there was only one up for auction, how come it took 12 days to notice all this damage to the stone.  I never get the truth from this company.  I know one thing I won that auction fair and square, JTV just did not want to send out a 3ct ruby for the final bid of $26.00 plus 6.99 s/h.  They are frauds and lairs.  What gets me the most is how some of those people can live with themselves, they talk about God and Love and Family, yikes...apparently they do not fear the ONE.  SO I SUGGEST YOU SHOP ANYWHERE BUT JTV/AND DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME ON THEIR AUCTION, you won't get what you won..............
