I connected with Ji around November 2017 about potentially helping by providing digital marketing services as a contractor with him ICO agency pressICO.
He claimed that he had raised a significant amount of money with PolyMath and that I would be paid a small amount up front for my digital marketing work and a commission based on the amount of money he planned to raise for his clients.
I accepted the contract and started performing work. I sat in on client meetings and acted as a strategist and project manager.
Jerry Guo takes between $100k-$500k from each client and refuses to invest any of the money in the project.
He pockets all the cash then finds freelancers like me to execute work.
He will string you along for months with big promises about his connections, about big ICO commissions and success.
He's lying.
He makes claims to clients that he has a full team on each project and that he only charges "pass thru" costs for marketing.
He has no team only freelancers.
It appears as if he pockets the money and then plays a game of bullshit until people figure it out.
After requesting payment from Ji for months I've given up.
Avoid Jerry Ji Guo at all costs.
He's charming, funny, interesting—and evil.
