If you suspect that the location mentioned did not perform the oil change correctly my recommendation would be to have a professional look at the car. They need to make notes on a diagnosis, meaning that the oil is over full and what ever else they find. Any documented paper work by a professional will eliminate the ability for the Jiffy Lube location to say otherwise. Some franchises pay a bonus and having claims will affect that so return to the location once and give them the opportunity to fix the problem. Make sure to get the franchise info so you can contact them should need be. Make sure to retain your work order from the location as it should have a list of the persons who worked on your car. If the location gives you a run around in a serious manner tell them you are going to contact both the corp. office for the franchise and Jiffy Lube International. Contact Jiffy Lube Int. and file a complaint against the franchise, state the facts about your experience do not let feeling and emotions pilot your complaint. Then contact the franchise after Jiffy Lube Internat. and again explain the story and tell them that they are responsible for poor workmanship. They need to cover the cost of the repair since they caused it. Send them copies of your paper work and make sure to mention that you have contacted Jiffy Lube Internat. and you will also notify the BBB and if need be you will obtain a lawyer and seek a judgement against the franchise if needed. Don't let them ignore you, when you become to much of a risk to their business they will work with you. If the franchise is good they will have the problem fixed with little effort. Ted
