I ordered a large cactus from Jiimz. Total with shipping was $110.00. This cactus was special because it was so large and it had 5 pups growing off it. When it arrived, the limbs were dangling off the main stalk. There was no interior packaging to insulate the product from rough handling or from low temperatures.

He offered four, not five, 1 foot cuttings after I sent him pictures. But he said I had to release the funds first.

Now, it seems to me since he offered compensation he admits fault. As a faulty seller, I would think he should send first. For until I have the compensation, I am not compensated and the issue is not resolved. We couldnt come to terms on this so I left him negative feedback on ebay.

He responded to the feedback saying:

"buyer unable to show any proof of damage motives questionable????"

He lied, flat out. Awful experience. Avoid Jiimz.

i did not ripoff this person.... had i been notified when the item arrived damaged it could have been handled properly by fedex insurance but instead he dismembered the cactus and for whatever reason frose it in the freezer so insurance couldnt be filed.....he then filed a complaint again not following correct procedure by still not contacting me which only caused all funds to be frozen and starting a lengthy investigation into the process instead of just contacting me for advice or a solution. i then offered to send him some repacements if he would close the complaint which he refused i also asked for additional photos i did not receive...... he then had the option to return the item within 30 days for refund but he chose to keep it not to return item for refund. i have been a full time eBay powerseller since 1999 and have over 20,000 transactions and keep a high standard relation with my buyers but on occasion have a buyer like this that doesnt know the correct procedure for solving a problem directly with the seller such as destroying evidence and following direction for resolving problems such as first contacting seller not contacting seller last jiimz (eBay feedbacks left 6234) Positive Feedback (last 12 months): 99.6%
