I was a victim targeted by this car lot. I believe they plot to steal money from hard working individuals.

My prior vehicle would not pass emissions and the repairs were very expenses to fix in order to get it repaired. I utilize my vehicle as a contractor for the Department of Children Services. I am often assigned cases to transport and monitor children in DFCS custody during visitation of their biological parent(s). I also own and operate a retail electronics shop when I'm not assignment with DFCS.

I visited the car lot (Jimmy's Carland Inc.) to purchase a vehicle, which I desperately needed for work. I completed an application with this car lot and I was told that I was approved, however, I would have to put up a $1500 down payment. I paid the $1500 down payment and sign contracts and other registration paperwork. I purchased full coverage insurance and I left the lot with a 2005 Cadillac SXR. The following day I contacted my agency to inform them that I had a replacement vehicle and that I was available for assignment. I was assigned and assignment and completed the assignment.

During my assignment I noticed that the vehicle had a noise coming from the front end. So I contacted the car lot to make them aware of this problem. They told me to bring the vehicle back to the lot so that they can make the repairs. I immediately brought the car back to the car lot and dropped the car off for repairs on 11/26/2014. Two hours after dropping the car of for repairs the finance manager (Joe) calls me back and states the my loan did not get approved because I alleged falsified information on my credit application. I asked for and explanation and Joe told me that because of the falsified information on my application I would not be getting my down payment refunded to me.

It has now been over a week and I have requested my refund several times. This has to be illegal and the money this crooks are taking from people could in no way be reported to the IRS

Customer lied in his application and we have a big sign that say if you lie in your application, you lose your down payment.

TO START, WE HAVE A SIGN ON THE WALL IN FRONT OF THE CUSTOMER THAT STATES THAT THE CUSTOMER WILL LOSE DOWN PAYMENT IF THEY LIED OR SUBMITTED FAKE PAYSTUBS, BANK STATEMENTS OR TAX RETURNS. THE CUSTOMER CAME IN AND TEST DROVE THE CAR AND LIKED IT AND WANTED TO PURSUE THE PURCHASE. THE CUSTOMER FILLED OUT THE APPLICATION DATED AND SIGNED THE APPLICATION. WE GOT THE CUSTOMER APPROVED WITH $1500 DOWN. WE APPROVED THE CUSTOMER BASED ON THE APPLICATION INFORMATION HE PROVIDED US SINCE THE APPROVAL AND LOAN ARE DONE THROUGH A THIRD PARTY, WE DON'T FINANCE THE CARS, BUT IT IS BEING FINANCED BY OUTSIDE FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS. THE CUSTOMER GAVE US TAX RETURNS AND PAYSTUBS. WE SUBMITTED THE PAPERWORK TO THE FINANCE COMPANY TO VERIFY, THEY INFORMED US THE PAYSTUBS ARE FAKE. THAT MEANS THE CUSTOMER HAD LIED BY SUBMITTING FAKE PAPERWORK. THE CUSTOMER SIGNED A BAILMENT AGREEMENT STATING THAT HE/SHE WILL LOSE THEIR DOWN PAYMENT IF ANY THING THEY SUBMITTED IS FRAUD OR FAKE. WE HAVE AN ACKNOWLEDGMENT FROM THEM. SO WHO IS AT FAULT NOW. WHO IS THE LIAR. IF THE CUSTOMER WAS RIGHT, WE DIDN'T THE CUSTOMER PROCEED LEGAL ACTIONS. IF THE PAPERWORK WASN'T FRAUD, WHY WOULDN'T WE SELL THE CAR.

They cannot refuse to refund your down payment for this reason. If you want to shake them up, go to the dealer, ask for you money back, and if they refuse, call the police. Seriously.  "XXX Motors has stolen $1500 from me and I need help getting it back" if that fails, contact the state dept that is i charge of auto dealers. Tell them your situation. It will take longer, but it will work. remember, if they put it in writing and you signed that the deposit is non refundable, you might be SOL, but try my plan anyway. I hve been in the auto finance business for 30 years, and I know of what I speak. God luck.

Oh, was your info on the credit application true, and can it be proved to be true?
