In 2006, the owner of Craigs List, Craig Newmark agreed to turn over the ISP information of this sick individual posting on his site several people complained was impersonating them among other things. Craigs List policy is to reveal such information when its users are being impersonated using its service. It was determined that Joel Utman, a graphic designer and owner of Beewise.com was responsible for the activities. A private investigator was also hired primarily due to the death threats Mr. Utman partook in against one individual who shared this information with me and local authorities.
Mr. Utman's activities are known to law enforcement in San Diego, San Francisco, Novato and to the FBI. He has also been under iinvestigation for impersonating a police officer on the internet (case filed with Captain
David Sears of the Petaluma, Calif. Police Department). Sgt. Dave Johnson of the Novato Police Department is familiar in investigating this individual over death threats.
Utman has accused innocent people of being pedofiles defaming them on-line. He has assumed their identities and e-mail addresses in an attempt to bring ruin to their lives, including my own. He has also posted extremely disturbing graphic material over the suicide death of Chancellor Denton of U.C. Santa Cruz on Craigs List.
On Mr. Utman's Beewise site's "about page" a mysterious entity lurks behind his business unwilling to present himself and identity to the public other than an untraceable yahoo address. He is extremely computer savy though the extent of his operation isn't fully known.
Mr. Utman, was also on eBay under the address Willow_Moon in 2006 (no longer), attempted to sell his Beewise.com website for $1,000,000 demonstrating his mental illness and desperation due what is most likely a midlife depression crisis he refuses to address in an adult manner. He since let go of his eBay account because those he victimized let him know they were aware it was him on the account who attempted to sell his site there.
Several people have been networking about this sick person's ID theft and attempts to ruin their lives through defamatory accusations. Since his identity was disclosed in 2006, Utman has been laying low since, finding new methods in dealing with his madness, accessing e-mail accounts and assuming identities again. One of his favorite games is to send e-mails under his victim's identities to people like the Mayor. Auto-responders indicate his activities but one never knows exactly how much material Mr. Utman sends out to try and defame and set-up his victims.
Much like in the character played by Michael Keaton in the psycho thriller 1992 movie Pacific Heights, Mr. Utman tries to make innocent people out to be criminals with false accusations to sabotage their lives in the public eye. He tries to have others attack his victims as part of his plan to drive his victims into his own state of madness.
If you know of Mr. Utman and his predatory criminal activities, please contact your local police office and file a complaint. I would also appreciate it if you could contact me with any information I can share with the network of people involved of putting an end to this man's criminal predatory activities in an attempt to destroy their life long careers and lives. Joel Utman recently filed a complaint report on me full of all his well recognized strange spelling errors, not to mention lies. The timing of this complaint was out of the blue. Officer Steve Gorski of the Walnut Creek Police must have blown him off, so Utman is back to his smear activities, assuming ID's and lying about people he doesn't know. Joel Utman's latest false complaint against me on Rip-off Report in which he assumes a false identity. All witnesses and victims of Joel Utman's on-line predator, ID Theft, spamming activities, please contact Officer Steve Gorski of the Walnut Creek Police department. Utman, insane man that he is, has filed a complaint there for another spammer's harassment activities of him (see file under Edmond Wollmann) he wanted to pin on his victims. This is to correct the location I filed this report under, is Walnut Creek, although Mr. Utman no longer lives at the address we last tracked him at so it doesn't really matter anyway. He most likely is still living in Northern California however.
