I went to jrp modesto from 2000-2001. My mom paid a lot of money for me to attend their classes. We even went to new york to attend imta. Terry and his girlfriend were there. It was a chance to go and get call backs. I only had 2 callbacks, one from los angeles and from elite management. Well our instructor (when we got back to cali) took all our contacts that we got from new york and ran. After that incident I never went back any more. I remember some of the people I went with and people whom I delt with. Another time Terry recommended us to go to a "model" agency in san francisco. The owners were a gay couple (I forget the name, something with talent in it).
Anyway, my mom paid $750 for my zed card photo chute and they were to mail us my zed cards. Well they mysteriously disappeared and ran with our money.. We brought it up too Terry and he said that they were scammers.
One thing my mom didn't like that she brought up to my attention was that he wanted to do a nude photo chute of me and my mom kept refusing. You are not the only one who was scammed.
She did pay $1,500 for a life time membership through any JRP, haven't tried to use it all, but probably a scam.

Once upon a time there was a JRP in Stockton...it closed at the end of 1991 due to numerous lawsuits asserting fraudulent misprepresentation and for operating a vocational school w/o a license. The JRP's in Stockton, Fresno, Sacramento, and Bakersfield were jointly owned by a married couple named Ron & Darlene (I forget their last name). Just when the DA of Sacramento got wise to them and filed an injunction they disolved the corporation under which they did business and filed for Chapter 13 bankruptcy protection. That meant they had to close all the JRP's (except the Sacramento one remained open) Ron retained interest in the Sacramento one, Darlene got the Stockton JRP but of course it had to close due to the irreparable damage to its reputation, though Darlene soon was back in business a few months later under a different business name with the clients who remained. The Fresno, Bakersfield, and Stockton JRP's were closed. Fast forward to 2007 and now I hear there is a JRP operating in Modesto and it's business as usual! They wouldn't DARE have reopened it in Stockton because memories run long... My advice is that you file suit in small claims court "individually and DBA" less this individual file for bankruptcy protection as a corporation. These people are unscrupulous (the ones you dealt with) and will be difficult to locate. Keep checking court records and file a complaint with the local DA.
