Judy's Touch Of Beauty (Judy Okendu) PAID $360 FOR LACEWIG, PAID $75 FOR IT TO BE APPLIED,PERSON RUINED WIG & THE LOOK WAS A DISASTER AND HAD TO PAY SOMEONE ELSE $90 THO CORRECT WHAT SHE DID& TOLD ME SHE WOULD FIX ITOVER & DIDN'T SHOW UP TO DO SO & WILL NOT GIVE REFUND Houston Texas
I purchased A $360 lacewig that should last for a long time.I found a shop called Judy's Touch of Beauty that advertises applying lacewigs. I called the owner & made an appointment for 5/31/08.
I went to the shop & the process began, I had never had a lacewig before so I didn't realize until it was finished how absolutley terrible it looked. I paid $75 for it to and left. I was too upset to say anything because I felt it would turn into something ugly.
I did however call Judy the very next day & told her it needed to be fixed because it was an absolute disaster and the lace & adhesive was totally visible. I was told by Judy to come back to the shop on 6/2/08 so she could fix it.
I drove to her shop which is an hour away from my home to meet her for eleven. She never came but called me at noon to say she didn't come because she was sick & because it was a monday which is not a regular work day. I became furious & demanded a refund & reimbursement for gas afterall she told me to come she then hung up on me.
I didn't recieve my refund, I had to pay someone else to remove the wig & apply it again which was $90 because of the damage she has done.
I feel I am owed a refund plus money for damages to the wig.
