Buyer Beware of Just Bicycles. com for the following reasons:
This company did not give me any product or service. Yet they deducted 20% from the total charge of my attempted purchase of a bicycle from them. This included the shipping and insurance cost not just the bicycle I tried to order. They use their Terms to justify this charge.
The following is what happened:
I ordered a bicycle advertised on sale. It did not state it was out of stock as it does for some other bicycles advertised on their web page.
After a few days I write and ask if they shipped the bike yet. I'm told the bike is back ordered. And won't ship for 30 to 45 days. Though disappoint I figure I could wait it out.
After three weeks I get my credit card bill and see that I was charged from day one for a bicycle he did not have in stock. This upset me because companies I have dealt with in the past don't charge you for back orders until their ready to ship. So I ask him about this. He quoted me this legal stuff that I agreed to his terms when I ordered the bike and click on agree to terms.
These term were in small print under International shipping which I thought did not apply to me since I
live in the USA. But you'll find cancellation and back orders under that topic. Most people nor a senior citizen like me would knowingly agree to giving him 20% of the total price for canceling an order he did not have in stock. Or allowing him to charge your card and wait 45 days for a back ordered bike advertised in stock.
In my opinion I was tricked by this company. Suggest you read his Terms word for word on the web site and check the BBB. before you buy. Wish I did....
