Kajiya is the Director of Africa Investments at National Standard Finance, LLC and a co-founder of National Standard's Africa division. He is responsible for origination, structuring and monitoring the firms investments in Africa. His areas of investment focus include public and private infrastructure, sovereign and sub-sovereign debt, large real estate, capital intensive investments and banking and financial services.
Kajiya also has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate advisory, valuations and financial modelling and arrangement of debt and equity investments in Africa.
Kajiya has an unwavering passion of investing in African infrastructure having started working with National Standard to invest in African infrastructure in 2011. Through National Standard, Kajiya has a passion to bring world class infrastructure investment solutions to Africa and turn Africa into a global phenomenon by bringing American and international capital to Africa.
Before co-founding National Standard Africa, Kajiya was Managing Partner and co-founder of boutique investment banking firm; FinVision Partners Limited where he led debt and equity investments in public and private companies. Whilst at FinVision, Kajiya arranged investments in excess of US $200 million for banks, mining and manufacturing companies in Africa. Prior to FinVision, Kajiya worked also at BancABC Zambia as Loans Manager and also with Madison Insurance as an underwriter. Kajiya has 17 years experience and banking and finance in the African markets.
Kajiya has a Bsc in Banking and Finance from the University of Manchester and a Diploma in Business Studies from the Institute of Commercial Management, United Kingdom.
