Complaint Review: Karis Holmstrom/ Kayley Kulka - Darwell Alberta

To who ever which I know is a family member also posted about a Great Dane with a broken leg is very very missed lead. It was a toy Aussie she was being dog sat when her leg got broke by another dog playing to rough there is proof to that and proof of all the vet visits with all the dogs. Also regarding the toy aussies. Which there is a lot of proof with texts and Facebook messages, there are vet reports showing the owner of him took him to the vet multiple times.

A family member aka cousin offered to take the toy Aussie to her vet as the other vet wasn’t giving answers. This cousin then asked for money back after offering as they were a little tight on money because this covid stuff. After she aka JENNIFER MARTINO asked for the money back they said they would pay her back but they want the dog back to take him to the specialist that was recommended by her vet. After many attempts to get a hold of Jennifer as she wasn’t answering any texts or messages or calls she had then took the dog to a rescue with out consent of the owner. Also some how Jennifer got a hold of there personally information from another vet called BarrNorth veterinary they were the ones who didn’t try to help the dog either they did little to non to see what was truly wrong even when asked to do x rays on his neck and back.

I will also ADD this toy Aussie was also being dog sat to. They recent went through a death in the family and had people watch there dogs who they through were trust worthy. There are pics of when that toy Aussie left and when returned there is a huge difference in appearance and weight. Jennifer Martino missed lead, lied and took advantage of these poor people so she could make herself look good, make her self look like she did a good things. When all she did was lie, back stabbed, hurt her own family member to make herself look like a hero which she isn’t. Her husband and friend went after these people’s family with horrible name calling, threatening to kill a person where the person had to get a order from the police that if he contacted this person again he’d be in trouble.

Jennifer Martino took away the chance of these owners to say good by to the toy Aussie as if he wasn’t able to recover from his genetic disorder which was found out it was and not abuse like this crazy as*holes on here think, to put him to down. They always get there dogs ashes but not this time because of a cruelty evil women. She literally miss lead everyone with false information as JENNIFER MARTINO knew the whole and true story about the toy Aussie. I knowing this person my friend for almost my whole life she’d do anything for her animals and her dogs.

All these people are butt hurt jealous little bi*ches how about you do your due diligence first before go around slandering peoples name. Also the BOHNET/SIMPSON FAMILY have serious problems with lying about each. Backstabbing each other and hurting each other so I wouldn’t believe a single thing they say. There’s no proof on there end while the owners have all the proof

I just seen video and pics of a Toy Australian Shepherd. It was disgusting to watch. These so called people have no right to any animal as she was also ordered not to have more than 3 horses . NOW she is into puppy milling Great Danes and the Toy Austalians.  She lives in Barrhead. One of the danes is at the vet with a broken leg . BE AWARE 

I'm not sure why someone would defend Holmstroms so strongly when a link was already posted proving they had animal care issues and were prohibited by court order from owning too many horses. http://www.albertaspca.org/neglect-abuse/prohibitions.html. It makes a person wonder how legitimate the "customer" defending Holdmstroms is. Holmstroms and their defenders repeatedly asked for pictures as proof, so here are some.

The last post defending Holmstroms had 3 pictures with it. In the group picture of the horses, you will see a pinto mare in the background on the right hand side. It so happens I have pictures of that same horse, it has unusual markings so there's no mistaking that it is the same horse. Here are pictures taken of that horse the very day it was purchased from Holmstrom's in May of 2014; and pictures of the same horse again 3 months later in August of 2014.

That horse left Holmstrom's in May with ribs showing, hip bones and tail base sticking out, and the spine a sharp ridge. That was a young horse, 4 years old, and did not have any health issues to cause the poor condition it was in. In 3 months the horse was a picture of health through nothing more than deworming, fresh continual supply of water, and horse feed. 

If Holmstroms are arguing so strongly that there is absolutely no merit to the complaints made on this Ripoff Report, they obviously have no plans to make the necessary changes to properly care for the animals, and they want to continue to make an income from breeding animals. If they argue so vehemently that there was nothing wrong with the care of their animals, it would seem they have something missing in their brains that they can't recognise an animal in poor condition. These are not the kind of people that strive for knowledge and education in the breeding, caring for and training of their animals, and instead spend their time and energy fighting, arguing and making excuses.

Ok first of all this is a bunch of bulls*, I had boughten a puppy from the Holmstroms a couple years ago and I have never seen anything like what is being said. when I had purchased my puppy karis and Kayley both were very nice , let my husband and 3 children (ages 4-16) out to view the property and parents before purchasing a dane puppy. We were so very pleased. They answered EVERY question we had to ask. They let us see the puppie/dogs living conditions as well. The puppies were kept in a large size kid pool with mom , food and water, and some treats and toys. I myself have never experienced anything bad with them. My 13 year old daughter also wanted to view and pet the horses They were so very nice and my daughter went out in the field feeding the horses treats. none of the horses showed any aggression nor were any of them skinny, abused, or malnourised. I Beleive if people want to say s**t about other to either : 1- Show yourself or say who you are or 2- atleast show proof of what your saying by showing pictures or messages. Instead of being 2 faced about it all. So very sad how you people have nothing better to do but to write useless ripoff reports about such good  people. I would also like to put this out there - I would recommed them to anyone for a puppy And also purchase a puppy from them anyday. Thank you Kayley and Karis for being such amazing people towards my family and gave us the most perfect puppy.. I would really like for you Anonymous people to start showing proof of what your saying because this is something that can ruin a persons life.

Although there are rebutals saying the person that filed the Ripoff Report is full of lies, I have reason to believe they are likely telling the truth. Three Holdmstrum family members are on the SPCA Prohibition List and are banned from owning more than 3 horses until the year 2019, including Karis. Anyone familiar with animal abuse cases knows something very significant has to happen before the SPCA and courts will take action. I wish to remain anonymous because I lived in the Darwell area and know that the entire family can become very volitile. I've been on their property and many of their horses and dogs were kept in poor condition. Dogs kept in pens with no shade and tied about the yard, horses extremely skinny without proper hoof care, and so on.

I don't understand how things get that way. They obviously love animals to have dogs and horses, but like many chronic animal abuse cases, they have too many animals and don't take care of them properly. I hope Holmstroms figure this out instead of continuing to blame people around them and making a bunch of excuses and lies. Maybe the court process was a wake-up call and they get the help they need. That way less animals will suffer in the future.

How could anyone believe this crap, the person does not even put down their name or the puppies name Which is telling me something is not right with this report. They don't even put a picture up on here to prove that the puppy was skinny or do they show any proof of the puppy being sick. If something like that happen to my puppy I would have proof of it all. Also why not contact the breeder and let them what has happen as I have seen that this breeder is very helpful to her puppy buyers. She even will replace a puppy even if it hasn't died of any genetic disorder. She also takes her time to help with every question a puppy buyer has or concerns they have. Also she offers a health guarantee which also raises even more proof this is a fake report to try and ruin a good breeder I see them all over the places.I see there are other comments on here and yet no reply from the person who posted this to defend them selves Which is very weird to me as it was post over a month ago. I think who ever posted this show get the balls and removed it as it's untrue.

younger Brother to Karis holmstrom. 

100% of this is lies, Karis takes all the precautions of selling puppies 

she takes them for vet checks regularly, all shots and everything before they leave.

so if your puppy was sick it would have been what you did, because when they leave we make sure they are all healthy, and if they aren't we nobody has contacted her for her puppies having coccidia,and no puppy ever leaves our care sick, EVER, so get your story straight.

And about all this other personal information of my sister (ie. Personal phone number, and other undisclosed stuff) written here, I am going to ask you to remove this or I will call the cops and they will deal with it. 

I Highly disagree with this rip off report, i also have a puppy from indi. he was smaller when he came home but he was the runt of the litter and he was still very healthy. He had no worms and absalutley no problems with him. karis has been very nice and helpful with me personally and i have seen her dogs in person all of which are healthy and well put together mentally and physically!
