Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I went to Kings Furniture in Hamilton, OH after seeing several signs indicating that the store was closing (or restructuing) and selling all items at greatly reduced prices.  I did not find anything that really met my needs as I walked through the store unassisted; as I was leaving a sales person offered to help me.

Since all of the items on the floor had prices that were marked out, I asked about the prices on several items.  When we got to the last item in the store, the sales person said the item was available in white, which is what I wanted but we had to look on the computer.

A computer was not immediately available and so I waited.  Then I was told that another person could help me and would find something that was a better bargain and I would like.  He ultimately selected an item and showed me the picture on the computer; the price was not shown.  I agreed to the item and he wrote up the order, with a total price over $700 (included taxes and shipping).

Later I changed my mind about this item and was told I could change it, but when I went to the store I received several different explanations.  This is when I looked up the item on the internet and found that I had been overcharged in excess of $200.   I have tried several methods to get relief and get my money returned.

The "owner" has offered different versions of returning the money:  once he said, I would get the money when I had the other furniture delivered; another version said I would get the value of the "overcharge" in other furniture from the store.

I refuse to accept any furniture from Kings Furniture because I feel that if I accept their furniture, I am impliedly approving of the manner in which they got the money. Simply stated, I feel I would be saying that it's OK for them to overcharge me.
