Knapp College of Business They got my Pell Grant and my student loan and I only attended school for 16 days. Tacoma Washington
I enrolled in school at Knapp business college back in 87. The course was a 12 month course. The school got my Pell Grant. I attended school a total of 16 days. My husband got a job working on the Civic center in downtown Seattle and since we only had 1 vehicle, I took a leave of absence. I with drew from school becore my leave of absence was up. The school also got my student loan. The Pell Grant was to pay for the 1st 6 months. My student loan kept getting sold to different companies. My tax return for last year was taken for $7?? and now my tax return for this year is late so I am afraid it will be taken also. That school has been closed for a long time. I should not have to pay back the loan as I only attended 16 days total which the $13?? Pell Grant should have more then covered. All I got was 2 paperback books, a calculator, and a wire crimper. I never signed any check or anything either.
