La Jolie Madame Ripoff Horrible customer service with arrogant and exceptionally bad mannered sales reps. Merchandise severely overpriced Vancouver British Columbia Canada
I find it extremely difficult to believe that a store could offer such horrible service and have the ability to treat customers the way La Jolie Madame has treated me.
On a recommendation from a colleague, I visited this store after I was told they were expensive but good. I was able to find a bra that fit and although it cost over $130.00, I went ahead and purchased it.
The next business day I decided to try my new bra out and found the bra straps continuously falling off my shoulders and the under wire digging into my skin, despite the expertise the clerk claimed to have in bra fitting. I immediately took the bra off when I got to work and brought it back to the store only to find the sales clerk, Maryanne, to be extremely rude and continuously pressing the idea that she was an expert bra fitter and a professional. She claimed that because the bra fit perfectly in the store that it should fit perfectly when I moved as well. Of course if that was the case, I would not have returned to the store in the first place.
As I had worn the bra for ONE HOUR I was denied an exchange and Maryanne turned her back on me and proceeded to walk away.
I'm very surprised that a boutique that claims to offer quality products and outstanding service can be the complete opposite. I'm sure that the products they offer are of a very high quality, however, because my purchase does not fit properly and the store refuses to take any responsibility I am stuck with a $130.00 bill and nothing to show for it.
