After I filed my original report for Lab88 (Beaute de Paris), the company called to explain that their on-line order department caught the error and immediately cancelled the errant orders and refunded the charges that same day. My VISA statement concurred with their statement.
The manager's call was courteous and reassuring; the claims of 100% customer satisfaction by Beaute de Paris was met; thus, I am amending my first report of dissatisfaction with Lab 88, for I believe they are concerned about addressing customer complaints.
Their web page should be taken down or updated for it is not valid. The only way I could pull my contact information together was through an obscure website not connected with Lab88. They should also include an invoice with the packaged product; the invoice should include a contact number for customer service.
Since I know that Lab88 has a customer service connect, and it will honor the product return policies by the companies it represents, I would not be hesitant to order from Lab88 again.

Let me begin by telling you I am very sorry that you had aless then excellent experience with one of our products.
Lab88 is a multi-product consortium company that sells supplements, health and beauty aids, as well as natural products of all kinds. The company has sold probably a few hundred skus throughout our 13 plus years in business. Lab88 is one of the oldest and most reputable healthcare product providers in the online industry. While our products can sometimes be found in upscale locations like duty free shops, hotel chains, doctors offices or spas, for the most part we sell directly to the consumer. Lab88 products are innovative solution products that because of the nature of the product are expensive to manufacture and therefore to make the products available at reasonable prices we cut out the middle man. You get great products and you get them promptly!
Enough about us. You mentioned in your complaint that there was a technical glitch where a grey default page kept popping up. It seems that your computer may be a bit slow and eventually you would have seen the confirmation screen but since you hit the enter button again a new order was generated. The email that you received are generated from those confirmations and are sent within seconds of an order being placed. Thats just an extra precaution for situations such as yours. In this world of never ending programs added to computers sometimes there just is clogged memory and computers that were once fast have become slow with time.
In any event, while lab88 has 24/7 customer service, I am actually at my desk Monday thru Friday from 9AM -5 PM, EDT. Since you did not put in your full name I cannot reach out but I would love to hear from you and I will make sure we put this issue to rest.
