Like many of the others I recently read about here, I too was ripped off by Ladco Leasing & LandMark Merchant Solutions. Ladco refused to do anything about thier affiliate not providing the website which basically reulted in the POS equipment being un-useable by me. At least LandMark Merchant Solutions was wise enough not to push thier contract. After advice from my attorney, as well as a Federal Officer, I stopped all payments to them as well as had my bank retract the last payment from August 2003.

Seems now they (April 2004) have filed a charge off against my credit report without my knowledge, so I could not contest thier information to the courts. Which action has resulted in my losing valuable business credit, possibly losing my bonding as well. Haven't heard from the bonding company at this time yet, although I did get a letter stating they would be looking at my credit again in a few months.

I have just began hiring an attorney whom I am going to have file a suit for $100.00 on each dollar of charge off filed against me. Which only comes to 235k, I've already lost well over 250k in financing due to this.

Rip-offs like this company need to be pursued and sued by anyone and everyone that has had problems with thier tactics.

As a long-time contractor, I believe in the extra mile and making things right, not ripping honest and hardworking people off.

If any others have information, or wish to get involved in a case against this company, I would welcome thier input. However, I fully intend to start this case immediately and have already started the ball rolling.

Filed dispute with Equifax and sent info to Attorney... and really didn't expect to hear back from the BBB

In the last few days I have been attmepting to get people to contact me so we can co-ordinate and get all our info for the attorney to handle. So far one person has contacted me from thecomplaintstation.com . If anyone is interested, my e-mail address is there. I recently sent off the dispute papers to Equifax, not that I expect much from them. Usually takes a court order to remove information any faster than glacial movement in the winter. Sent a very large packet of info to an attorney today as well. Amazing what one can find on the net if you search hard and long enough. Seems Ladco has been screwing people since about 1998, at that is when it becomes apparent they are not a nice outfit. I haven't, and really didn't expect to hear back from the BBB in Ladco's area. I faxed them 16 pages of infomation about Ladco and thier deceptive practices. For those of you interested in suing this company, I hope to hear from you soon. Those of you traveling other roads, good luck.

Filed a report with California Attorney General

After arguing with one of my credit lines today to buy materials for a job, I decided to follow up with a report to the California Attorney General. I also pointed them to this site to see how many reports there are against Ladco Leasing. ""My complaint is that Ladco leasing and thier affiliate Landmark Merchant Solutions violated the contract with me in 2003. Defrauding me of several hundred dollars while sitting several months with POS equipment that did not work without a website. Unknown to me, Ladco Leasing then filed a claim against me in a California court obtaining a charge off to file against my credit record. If I had been informed of this court proceeding, I would have had my attorney appear and present the case from my side. Basically, I am saying that Ladco Leasing/LandMark Merchant Solutions are in violation of contract and Landco Leasing presented fraudulent information to the court to obtain thier charge off. There are several complaints against Ladco Leasing, even though the California BBB doesn't not show these complaints. I suggest looking at www.ripoffreport.com and search under the word Ladco. I don't expect the California State Attorneys office to take action against this company, it is my intention that you become aware of the fraudulent nature of this company and thier affiliates. Example: LandMark Merchant Solutions sets up the leases, sells the POS lease to Ladco Leasing, then does not hold to thier end of the contract, Ladco locks the buyer into a 48 month contract, then sues for or forces the contractee to pay for this at an exorbant price for the POS equipment (ten or more times the cost of the equip.) Please look into this company before more people are ripped off. I am pursing a case against them already from Alaska."" Hopefully this will wake up someone and get the State of California to investigate this company.
