laptop-advantage laptop-advantage.com Fraud desceptive sold broken LCD screen as not tested Mentor, Ohio
DO NOT BUY FROM LAPTOP-ADVANTAGE OR FROM THEIR EBAY ACCOUNT FUZION-LAPTOPS. They are crooks! I purchased a LCD screen for a acer mini notebook from eBay. When I unpacked the screen I was impressed by how much packing there was but when I looked at I noticed that it was broken. I contacted the seller immediately but received no response. I called all the numbers listed and emailed them but no response. After I filed a claim with ebay I was greeted by a response by the seller that informed me that the screen was sold as is and it wasn't tested. I have pasted emails below.
Seller's message:
" It could have been broken we do not test it, that's why the price is $30.00 please read the auction description carefully. Untested. All items come AS IS. All sale are final. NO REFUNDS. "
My response
"Knowingly selling broken items as not tested is fraud. You are a scammer and I will continue with paypal to see if they will refund my money. I will explore other avenues as well. I will contact ohio state attorneys office and postal inspector since this was sent USPS mail. I will also make the commitment of posting on every social media/review website. I have plenty of time on my hands since my computer screen will still be broken. I hope you will reconsider your position on this matter."
